Frequently asked questions
How do I turn the Zero Dryer on, and what setting does it start on?
Slide the switch up to turn it on and down to turn it off. It always starts on the highest heat and the highest speed; change them with the separate heat and speed buttons.
How many heat and speed settings does it have?
Three heat settings (low, medium, high) and three speeds, each on its own button. The display shows both. There is also a cool shot you click on and off.
Is the ionic mode always on?
Yes. Ionic is active whenever the dryer is running; there is no separate button for it.
What attachments come in the box?
Two concentrator nozzles (medium and large) that snap on magnetically, and a diffuser that pushes on.
How do I clean the filter?
Unplug the dryer. Grip the chrome ring at the back, twist it to unlock (the triangle is the alignment mark), and pull the cover straight off. Clean the hair, lint and dust off the filter screen, then line the triangle back up and twist to lock.
Is it dual voltage?
No. The Zero Dryer is US voltage only (110–125V); the rating is printed on the bottom of the nozzle. Do not use it on 220–240V outlets.
Does it turn itself off, and how long is the cord?
It has no auto shut-off, so switch it off when you are done. The cord is 8 feet and does not swivel. The dryer weighs 375 g (13.2 oz) without the cord.
